Out of three main categories, Physics has drawn the attention in the field of engineering and technology. The development of technology is very closely related with the applications of Physics. The basic principles discussed in Physics are developed and applied in every branch of engineering and technology.. Physics has become more relevant to the needs of society and important subject in the recent years because of its vast applications in technology and specifically with the use of laser and fiber optics. Optical fiber communication has brought the world together and the world has thus shrunk. Fiber optics has revolutionized the technology.
